All proceeds donated to Immigrant Families Together!
Conceived of as a gospel-tinged lullaby, "Endless Hope" was written by Jennifer Condos and Kristy Hanson. Tracks were recorded at both Hanson's and Condos' homes, with producer Mike Chiaburu (Hanson's husband and longtime collaborator) finishing up the tracks just as LA entered its COVID-19 lockdown. Kristy hopes the song and the accompanying video, a love letter to LA in quarantine, will be a comfort to those staying "safer at home" and a heartfelt thank-you to those on the front lines of the crisis. And hoping to do some further good, Hanson will donate all proceeds from the song (and all Bandcamp proceeds for the month of May) to the organization Immigrant Families Together, which works to free asylum seekers from detention (an increasingly dangerous place right now!) and reunite them with their families.
